Peak District National
Park Authority. Their purpose is to promote understanding
and enjoyment of the National Park and wider environment.

Directions to Losehill Hall
Losehill Hall is located between Hope and
Castleton, in Derbyshire, on the A6187, it is on the right-hand
side of the road, coming from Hope. There is ample parking at
Losehill Hall, and there is a railway station at Hope (hourly
trains), about two miles away. For a map, go to www.multimap.com,
and enter in the post code S33 8WB, and then zoom out (little
minus sign in the top left hand corner of the map frame) or it
all looks a bit confusing.
What you will need
Apart from the usual, we would recommend
- Good stout walking boots or shoes, with a good tread,
- A change of shoes (walking boots can't be worn in Losehill
Hall)
- A good waterproof coat, in case the weather feels malicious,
- Layers of clothing to put on, and perhaps a hat
- A rucksack/knapsack, to hold drinks and snacks etc.
- Small notepad and pen, to capture all the insights we get
- Energy bars (e.g. Mars), drinks, snacks etc.
- A mobile phone so you can make contact if there are problems
- A camera if you want to capture some good views
